Dr. Sappal

Dr. Aman Sappal has been practicing optometry since 2000 after graduating from the University of California at Berkeley School of Optometry. Immediately after graduation, Dr. Sappal practiced at the QueensCare Family Clinics in Los Angeles, California – A group of clinics that provide health care for the indigent. While there, he served as Chief of Optometric Services for the four clinics, as well as Chief of Mobile Vision Services. The Mobile Vision Program provided low-income students enrolled in the Los Angeles Unified School District over 30,000 pairs of glasses per year at no cost.

After moving back to South Florida, Dr. Sappal worked at the Pannu Laser Institute in Fort Lauderdale. While there, he had the chance to work with many ocular disease patients with conditions such as cataracts, glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, and macular degeneration.

Dr. Sappal likes to travel, work out, read, and play with his sons. He is fluent in English, Spanish, Portuguese and Punjabi.
